Last updated: August 2026. These terms govern your use of the Aruba Ocean Views website and any booking made through it or with the owners directly.

Bookings & Payment

Bookings are confirmed through Smoobu; payments are processed via Stripe. Rates may change until a booking is confirmed. A booking is not guaranteed until you receive written confirmation from us.

Payment Schedule

A 1% pre authorization hold is placed on your card at the time of booking to confirm your reservation. The remaining balance is charged 14 days before check in. If the card on file cannot be charged at that time, we'll reach out to resolve it; if payment isn't corrected within 24 hours, the reservation will be canceled.

Cancellation Policy

Full refund if canceled 14 days before check in. The guest will be charged the total price of the reservation if they cancel after the 14 day cutoff. Guests may request to change the dates of a reservation; changes are subject to availability.

Guest Conduct

Guests agree to follow the House Rules for their residence throughout their stay. We reserve the right to end a stay without refund in cases of serious or repeated violations.

Liability

Aruba Ocean Views, its owners, and property managers are not liable for any personal injury, illness, loss, or damage to personal property incurred by the booking guest, members of their party, or their visitors during the stay, except where directly caused by our proven gross negligence. Guests assume full responsibility for their own safety, including the use of any on-site amenities (such as pools, fitness facilities, and balconies). We strongly encourage all guests to purchase comprehensive travel insurance. Aruba Ocean Views is not responsible for disruptions caused by weather events, utility or internet outages, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
